If you are interested in mobile communications the place to be is Barcelona at the 3GSM World Congress, all the kids on the block will be there. Of course Nortel will be there, watch for announcements on WiMAX MIMO and other 4G technologies.

- There will be over 50,000 visitors
- There will be more CEO speakers per square inch than ever before
- There is an RSS feed of information
- There is a press release schedule, WTF! (Old skool PR)
- We are already seeing call hand over between GSM and WiFi networks
- There is a lot of discussion in blogs of the conference
- Microsoft will be there (via Frankarr), one of the things they will be talking about is Microsoft Solution for Enhanced VoIP Services, I hope there is linkage to the ICA we have with them.
- There will be more phone handset annoucements than ever before!
