Technorati worthless?

September 1st, 2005 · 2 Comments · RSS, Technology · 1,322 views

There has been a lot of noise in recent weeks over the performance of Technorati compared to other similar tools.

The Blog Herald is now reporting that Jason Calacanis feels Technorati is worthless! Personally I think that is a big call but I do agree that the service is really lacking.

I have moved most of my searching to Feedster and Pubsub as I receive errors more often than not when using Technorati. this is a pity cause I really like the new interface that combines a whole heap of tagged content into one screen.

I use BlogPulse and find the RSS feeds of search results very handy.

I have tried Blogpulse but never really enjoyed the interface for some reason, I guess a personal preference.
