New blog features

May 7th, 2006 · 4 Comments · Blogging, Social Networks · 4,276 views

I have been playing with a couple of new features on my blog before looking to add them to selected themes on hrblogs.org.

In no particular order

  • A list of the last 10 posts on the side bar
  • A list of 5 related posts on each post
  • Using Notable, you now have the ability to submit the post the many of the popular social bookmarking/taging sites.
  • I have also added a “view” counter to track the number of views an individual post gets. Look for a popular posts listing very soon.

Hi Michael, I just jumped on http://community.hrblogs.org/ in Safari and it doesn’t seem to like it much. I thought I would let you know, although not sure if you could or even want to do anything about it.

Thanks Steven. Can you let me know what sort of problems does Safari have? I do not have access to a Mac to test it out.

Michael. I’m sorry you don’t have a Mac ;) I’m happy to help out with some testing if it helps, although the site looks OK to me using Safari Version 2.0.3.
